Vanda ‘Miss Joaquim’ Orchid

The Vanda ‘Miss Joaquim’ Orchid is known for its beautiful vibrant colors as well as for its hardiness and resilience. Named after Ashkhen Hovakimian (Agnes Joaquim), who bred the orchid in Singapore in the 1890s, the Vanda ‘Miss Joaquim’ Orchid became Singapore’s national flower in 1981, almost a 100 years later.
